Ford Scheduled Maintenance Guide

Ford Service Technicians

Staying on top of your Ford vehicle’s recommended maintenance schedule is crucial to keeping it running like new on the East Lansing roads, and this is true whether you drive a new, used, or certified pre-owned Ford vehicle. If you’re unsure whether your vehicle is due for maintenance or service, then check out our Ford scheduled maintenance guide at Morrie's Okemos Ford. Then, schedule a visit with our Ford service team to give your vehicle the service and maintenance it needs for a great price.

Recommended Ford Service by Mileage

The type of Ford service that your vehicle will need depends on how many miles you currently have on the odometer. Certain tasks are recommended in the Ford scheduled maintenance guide at certain mileage intervals, so to see where your vehicle is at and what services it needs, take a look at the recommended services for each mileage marker below:

Every 7,500 to 10,000 miles:

  • Multi-point inspection
  • Lubricate unsealed joints
  • Brake and parking brake inspections
  • Exhaust system and cooling system inspections

Once you’ve passed 100,000 miles, you’ll want to continue having regular Ford service performed every 7,500 10,000 miles. Additionally, you’ll want to be sure to include the following services at the appropriate mileage markers:

Every 100,000 miles:

  • Replace spark plugs

Every 120,000 miles:

  • Replace engine air filter

Every 140,000 miles:

  • Inspect accessory drive belts

Every 150,000 miles:

  • Replace accessory drive belts
  • If manual transmission, replace fluid
  • Replace orange coolant
  • Change engine air filter

If your Ford vehicle needs any of these services performed, then schedule an appointment at our service center at your earliest convenience.

Extended Ford Service & Warranty Coverage

In addition to the Ford scheduled maintenance guide, your Ford vehicle will also have protection and coverage with the 3-Year / 36,000-Mile Factory Warranty and the 5-Year / 60,000-Mile Powertrain Warranty options. To get even more coverage on the Williamston roads, you’ll be able to choose from four different Ford service plans, which include:
